Only1jacket

As a kid, I was always upcycling and decorating old clothes. I am always looking for an unconventional canvas and my new passion became jackets as the canvas. The art I create on the jackets is a form of expression of how I feel both Internally and externally.

Moving to Berlin and being exposed to so many different characters and ways to create, I started making some 'special pieces' for myself. I choose my clothing depending on how I feel like presenting myself. Wearing art makes you feel like art, therefore I see these jackets as a reminder to us to not forget that we are all beautiful creations of our environments. We are all art. and art should not just have to be showcased in/on buildings but it can also be taken to the streets where it is in constant movement. Art itself is a constant movement. It is always changing and growing, like us humans.

All the jackets are second-hand so this is a waste-free art. Each jacket is its own art piece. There are no duplicates, just as we all are; unique and beautiful creations.

The Paintings on the jackets are waterproof and can be washed at a maximum 30'.
